Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unpack, and process incoming product shipments, ensuring proper documentation and secure storage.
- Maintain organized, efficient, and clean stockroom operations, optimizing space utilization and accessibility for all products.
- Conduct regular, thorough inventory counts and audits, meticulously investigating discrepancies and reconciling records with precise attention to detail.
- Prepare and fulfill product requests for the sales floor efficiently, ensuring timely replenishment and continuous product availability.
- Manage product transfers, customer returns, and disposals strictly in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, if applicable, strictly following all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate closely and proactively with the sales, leadership, and operations teams to anticipate inventory needs and strategically support sales initiatives and promotions.
- Implement and rigorously adhere to all security procedures and protocols to protect company assets and prevent shrinkage or loss.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and visual standards of the stockroom and back-of-house areas.
- Provide dedicated support for special projects, significant product launches, and seasonal inventory adjustments as required by business needs.
Required Skills
- Proven organizational and exceptional time management skills with a keen eye for granular detail and accuracy.
- Ability to safely lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs and comfortably stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong, clear, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management systems or point-of-sale software.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
- A high level of personal integrity and an unwavering commitment to accuracy and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of proven experience in retail inventory management, stockroom operations, or a similar logistics role.
- Familiarity with Apple products, services, and the Apple ecosystem.
- Experience with RFID or other advanced inventory tracking systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or a degree preferred.
