Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Credit Analyst to join our expanding team in Newtown, Aiea. This is an immediate start position for a professional eager to contribute to ANZ Bank’s robust risk management framework and support our growth initiatives. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating creditworthiness, assessing financial risks, and providing informed recommendations for lending decisions across a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of client applications, including review of financial statements, cash flow projections, and collateral assessments.
 - Prepare detailed credit proposals and risk assessments, highlighting key findings and recommending appropriate credit structures and terms.
 - Perform due diligence on new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
 - Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential credit risks, escalating concerns to relevant stakeholders as necessary.
 - Collaborate with Relationship Managers to understand client needs and structure tailored financial solutions while managing risk.
 - Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk.
 - Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used in credit analysis and reporting.
 - Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes and policies.
 - Present findings and recommendations to credit committees and senior management.
 
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
 - 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
 - Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial projections.
 - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
