Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Efficiently load and unload packages into and out of the delivery vehicle.
- Navigate routes using a handheld device and deliver packages to customers' doors.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and customer service at all times.
- Problem-solve and adapt to unexpected situations on the road.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.
- Adhere to delivery deadlines and ensure accurate package delivery.
- Represent Amazon professionally and positively during all customer interactions.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to get in and out of a van multiple times a day.
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery, driving, or logistics role.
- Experience with handheld navigation devices.
