Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for Airtel products and services (SIMs, data bundles, VAS, etc.).
- Identify and acquire new individual and SME customers within Calabar Municipality and surrounding areas.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through excellent service and regular follow-ups.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and monitor competitor activities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Airtel, effectively communicating product features, benefits, and promotions to potential customers.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, detailing sales activities, pipeline, and market feedback.
- Participate actively in sales campaigns, product launches, and promotional events to drive sales and market penetration.
- Provide first-line customer support, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and services to effectively advise customers.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to address customer feedback and improve service delivery.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient.
- Knowledge of the Calabar Municipality local market is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in direct sales, preferably in FMCG, banking, or telecommunications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience selling telecommunications products and services.
- Strong network of contacts within the Calabar business community.
- Ability to speak local languages relevant to the Calabar area.
