Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on various helicopter types in accordance with EASA Part-145 regulations and company procedures.
- Execute fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on complex aircraft systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Complete all necessary maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards to ensure the highest level of aircraft airworthiness.
- Participate in the defect reporting system, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating technical information clearly and collaborating with flight crews and other departments.
- Support ground operations, including aircraft movement, refueling, and general hangar duties as required.
Required Skills
- EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1.2 or B1.3 preferred, or equivalent type rating experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, ideally with helicopter experience.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations (EASA/CAA) and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of complex aircraft systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Valid UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Type rating on relevant helicopter models operated by Bristow (e.g., S92, AW189, H175).
- Experience working in an offshore or search and rescue aviation environment.
- Additional EASA Part-66 category ratings (e.g., B2).
- Relevant higher education or apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance.
