In this pivotal remote role, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our existing host base, ensuring their success on the Airbnb platform. While this is a remote position, a strong understanding of the local market dynamics in College Hill, Cedar Falls, and a willingness to engage with the local host community, is highly valued.
As an Airbnb Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of hosts, guiding them through best practices for listing optimization, pricing strategies, and guest communication. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of Airbnb hosts within the College Hill, Cedar Falls area, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize host listings, improve occupancy rates, and maximize host earnings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hosts, providing expert advice on pricing, photography, listing descriptions, and guest communication.
- Analyze host performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and resolve host issues, escalating complex problems to specialized teams when necessary.
- Educate hosts on new Airbnb products, features, and policies to ensure compliance and leverage new opportunities.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with hosts to discuss performance, set goals, and strengthen relationships.
- Contribute to local market intelligence by gathering feedback from hosts and understanding competitive landscapes in College Hill, Cedar Falls.
- Participate in virtual and occasional local host meetups or events to foster community engagement and gather insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and support teams to advocate for host needs and improve the overall platform experience.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client success roles, preferably in the hospitality, travel, or tech industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
