As a Flight Attendant, you are the face of Air Peace, responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our passengers from pre-flight to post-flight. Key Responsibilities
- Execute pre-flight safety checks of the cabin, ensuring all emergency equipment is in working order and cabin is prepared for passenger boarding.
- Warmly welcome passengers, assist with seating and baggage storage, and provide clear safety briefings and demonstrations.
- Attend to passengers' needs and requests throughout the flight, offering assistance with meals, beverages, and in-flight entertainment.
- Maintain a high standard of cabin cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a pleasant environment for all passengers.
- Handle unexpected situations, including medical emergencies or unruly passenger behavior, with professionalism and adherence to established protocols.
- Efficiently manage and address passenger inquiries, concerns, and complaints, striving for positive resolutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all aviation safety regulations, security procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the flight deck crew and other cabin crew members to ensure smooth flight operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Prepare and submit accurate flight reports detailing incidents, cabin issues, and passenger feedback.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Air Peace, promoting a positive image and fostering customer loyalty.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse passengers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm and decisive during stressful or emergency situations.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in other Nigerian languages is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a neat, presentable appearance.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties such as lifting baggage, standing for extended periods, and assisting passengers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to varying flight schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality, tourism, or aviation industry.
- A recognized First Aid or CPR certification.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik) beyond English.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
