Job Description

Are you a visionary Product Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive, elegant, and impactful digital experiences? Adobe Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Adobe Product Designer to join our innovative team in Hamilton, Ontario. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing the next generation of creative tools and services, working across various platforms and products within the Adobe ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and a proven track record of bringing successful products from concept to launch. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design processes for key product features, from initial research and ideation to final implementation and iteration.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
  • Develop detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure design solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Present and articulate design concepts, rationale, and user insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
  • Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Interaction Design.
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) for UI/UX design and prototyping.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design thinking, problem-solving skills, and a diverse range of projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience designing for large-scale, complex software applications or enterprise-level products.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Prior experience with motion design and animation principles for enhancing user experiences.
