Job Description
Interra Networks is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team in Maitama, Abuja. As an Administrative Officer, you will be the backbone of our administrative functions, responsible for managing daily office activities, providing comprehensive support to senior management, and ensuring a productive work environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain executive calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and easy retrieval of documents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office visitors, phone calls, and general inquiries, directing them appropriately and professionally.
- Oversee office supply inventory, placing orders, and ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available and well-maintained.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents for management and various departments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and executives, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and visa applications.
- Facilitate internal communication flow, disseminating information to relevant teams and ensuring a cohesive work environment.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees, managing staff records, and coordinating training sessions.
- Assist with basic financial tasks, including processing invoices, expense reports, and petty cash management.
- Ensure the office environment is tidy, organized, and conducive to productivity and professionalism.
- Undertake any other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Administrative Officer, Executive Assistant, or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office management software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
