Job Description

Hallam is seeking an experienced Ad Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on Social Media and PPC campaigns. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from rapidly growing startups to established enterprises, helping them achieve their marketing objectives through robust, data-led advertising strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid advertising strategies across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok).
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategy and maximise performance.
  • Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment (ROI) for clients.
  • Create compelling ad copy and visuals, performing A/B tests to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and engagement.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific dashboards), providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies in paid search and social media advertising.
  • Collaborate with client services, content, and SEO teams to ensure integrated digital marketing strategies.
  • Provide expert consultation and present campaign performance and strategy to clients regularly.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing PPC and paid social media campaigns.
  • Proven expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Video) and major social media advertising platforms (Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex strategies clearly to clients and team members.
  • Demonstrable experience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) principles.
  • Familiarity with bid management strategies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Shopping, Video).
  • Meta Blueprint certifications.
  • Experience with other ad platforms such as Microsoft Ads, Pinterest Ads, or TikTok Ads.
  • Agency experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
