Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and streamline processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or actively pursuing.
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
