Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client's financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assess credit risk by analyzing financial data, market trends, industry conditions, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals, risk assessments, and recommendations for new and existing credit facilities.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients and relationship managers to gather necessary financial information and clarify business operations.
  • Present credit reports and recommendations to management and credit committees.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, economic developments, and changes in credit regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in credit analysis within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial modeling, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or CFA is a strong advantage.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
