In this exciting and impactful part-time role, you will serve as the heartbeat of our online presence across various Web3-native platforms, including Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and other relevant forums. Your primary mission will be to cultivate and maintain a thriving, positive, and knowledgeable environment for our diverse community of users, developers, and blockchain enthusiasts. This involves much more than simply enforcing rules; you will be an active participant, a friendly guide, and a reliable source of information. You will engage proactively with discussions, respond thoughtfully to inquiries, provide first-line support by answering common questions about our platform and the broader crypto space, and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams with efficiency and empathy.
A key aspect of your contribution will be to actively listen to the pulse of our community. By monitoring conversations, identifying key themes, gathering user feedback, and recognizing emerging trends or potential concerns, you will act as a critical conduit, relaying invaluable insights back to our product, marketing, and customer support teams. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content and discussions across various Web3 social platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, forums) to ensure adherence to community guidelines.
- Actively engage with community members, fostering positive interactions, answering questions, and providing accurate information about BitOasis and the broader crypto ecosystem.
- Identify, report, and escalate critical issues, technical problems, or sensitive community feedback to relevant internal teams (e.g., customer support, product, marketing).
- Help disseminate official announcements, updates, and educational content to the community.
- Proactively identify community sentiment, emerging trends, and gather insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of online community events, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), contests, and campaigns.
- Maintain a professional, helpful, and friendly tone while representing the BitOasis brand in all community interactions.
- Develop and maintain FAQs and resource materials to better support community self-service.
Required Skills
- Deep and demonstrable understanding of Web3 concepts, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and NFTs.
- Proven experience with community management on platforms like Discord, Telegram, and Twitter.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage diverse communities.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate remotely.
- A proactive, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to community engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a community moderator or manager role within the Web3 or FinTech industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software or ticketing systems for managing user inquiries.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools for creating engaging social media content (e.g., Canva).
- Active participation in various Web3 communities and understanding of their dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
