Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with the Kahoot! community across various social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), dedicated forums, and relevant online groups.
- Monitor conversations, respond to comments and messages promptly, and guide discussions in a constructive, brand-aligned, and positive manner.
- Identify, nurture, and champion Kahoot! ambassadors and superfans, creating initiatives to celebrate their contributions and amplify their stories.
- Proactively seek out compelling user-generated content and success stories to highlight and share across Kahoot! official channels.
- Develop and implement engaging community initiatives, contests, and campaigns to drive participation, interaction, and content creation.
- Act as a crucial feedback loop, gathering insights, identifying trends, and analyzing sentiment from the community to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with the customer support team to resolve user issues, provide accurate information, and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Maintain a consistent, authentic Kahoot! brand voice and tone across all community interactions, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and approachability.
- Monitor key community health metrics, track engagement levels, and provide regular, insightful reports on community growth, sentiment, and impact.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest community management best practices, emerging social media trends, and competitive activities within the EdTech space.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in community management, social media management, or a similar digital engagement role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling, empathetic, and grammatically precise messages.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with various social media platforms and online community tools.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and manage sensitive conversations with tact, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Proactive, highly self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote, part-time setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with educational technology (EdTech) or gaming communities.
- Proficiency in Norwegian is a significant plus, enabling better engagement with local user segments and content.

- Experience with community management platforms (e.g., Khoros, Sprinklr) and analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
