Job Description

Maxis Berhad is actively seeking motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individuals to join our vibrant team as Part-Time Project Support Officers. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in various stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, distribute necessary materials, and accurately record and disseminate meeting minutes to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables against timelines, and proactively follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels and information flow between project teams, various internal departments, and external vendors or partners.
  • Support in the meticulous preparation of presentations, proposals, and regular project status updates for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with resource allocation and procurement processes, ensuring necessary resources are available when required.
  • Identify potential issues or roadblocks that may impede project progress and escalate them promptly to Project Managers.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company standards, internal policies, and adopted project management methodologies.
  • Perform general administrative duties to efficiently support overall project operations and team needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven organizational and exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a vital part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Minimum 1 year of practical experience in an administrative support or coordination role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience working in a project-based environment or within a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Fundamental understanding of basic project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) to engage with local stakeholders.
