Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage various types of loan applications, disbursements, and repayments accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough verification of loan documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and legal stipulations.
- Monitor loan accounts, manage rollovers, renewals, and modifications, ensuring all terms and conditions are correctly applied.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, credit analysts, and legal teams, to resolve discrepancies and facilitate smooth loan operations.
- Perform reconciliation of loan accounts and prepare comprehensive reports on loan portfolio performance and operational metrics.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve operational issues related to loan products in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in system enhancements and process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Ensure strict adherence to all anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines during loan processing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations, industry best practices, and product offerings across the financial landscape.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in loan operations or a similar role within a banking or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of loan products, processes, and documentation (e.g., corporate loans, retail loans, trade finance).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for communication in a multicultural environment.
