Job Description
Unisystems is seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time Technical Evangelist to join our innovative team in Athens. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills to become a voice for our cutting-edge technologies and solutions. As a Technical Evangelist, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships within the developer community, tech enthusiasts, and potential clients by showcasing the value and capabilities of Unisystems’ offerings. Your role will involve a blend of technical explanation, public speaking, content creation, and community engagement, all tailored to a part-time schedule that offers flexibility. You will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into understandable and engaging narratives, inspiring adoption, and gathering valuable feedback to drive product improvement. This position requires someone who is not only technically proficient but also genuinely enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and fostering a vibrant ecosystem around our solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Represent Unisystems at industry events, conferences, meetups, and workshops (both virtual and in-person)
- Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and technical talks on Unisystems’ platforms, products, and solutions
- Create high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, articles, whitepapers, videos, and code samples
- Engage with developer communities and technical audiences online and offline, answering questions and fostering discussions
- Gather market feedback and insights from the community to inform product development and strategy
- Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective outreach
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and relevance
- Mentor and educate internal teams on effective technical communication and evangelism strategies
Required Skills
- Proven experience (4+ years) in a technical role such as software development, solution architecture, or technical consulting
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics clearly and engagingly
- Strong written communication skills for creating compelling technical content (blogs, articles, documentation)
- Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT landscapes
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and familiarity with various tech stacks
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
- Fluency in both English and Greek, spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Previous experience as a Technical Evangelist, Developer Advocate, or similar role
- Established online presence (e.g., active blog, GitHub profile, open-source contributions, tech community involvement)
- Familiarity with specific Unisystems technologies or relevant industry platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, SAP)
- Experience organizing and moderating technical workshops or hackathons
