Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line remote IT support to Vattenfall employees, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems, including operating system issues (Windows/macOS), application errors, and connectivity problems.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Document support tickets, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles for frequently asked questions.
- Collaborate with senior IT specialists on more complex technical issues and projects.
- Participate in the deployment and configuration of new software or hardware as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining IT inventory and asset management records.
- Learn and adhere to Vattenfall’s IT security policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT concerns.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems; macOS knowledge is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
