Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with the rental of mini-warehouse storage units, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and manage daily sales transactions accurately.
  • Educate customers on various storage unit sizes, features, and pricing, recommending the best solutions for their needs.
  • Assist customers with moving supply purchases, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Conduct daily facility walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, security, and proper maintenance of the mini-warehouse property.
  • Perform light janitorial duties to maintain a presentable and hygienic environment for customers and staff.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate records of storage rentals, payments, and customer interactions.
  • Assist with inventory management of moving supplies and other retail products.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency for point-of-sale systems and administrative tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or storage facility environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
