Job Description
CarMax is seeking a visionary and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead our remote marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our online presence, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content strategy, and digital analytics. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with CarMax's business objectives.
- Oversee the execution of all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, display, social media, email, and content marketing.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists (if applicable), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, IT, Merchandising) to ensure a seamless and integrated customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital technologies to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and user engagement.
- Develop and present regular reports on digital marketing performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Demonstrable expertise in SEO, SEM (Google Ads, Bing Ads), social media marketing, email marketing, and content strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, CRM systems).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an e-commerce or retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA) in Marketing or a related field.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and their impact on digital marketing.
- Previous experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies.
