Your primary role will be to create a welcoming, comfortable, and secure environment for all passengers, demonstrating unwavering professionalism, empathy, and strict adherence to comprehensive safety protocols. Beyond serving refreshments and ensuring comfort, you will be responsible for a wide array of critical tasks. These include conducting meticulous pre-flight safety checks of the cabin and its equipment, assisting passengers with boarding and seating, clearly explaining safety procedures, and managing the cabin effectively throughout the flight. You will also be trained to respond calmly and effectively to any in-flight situations, ranging from minor passenger queries and comfort issues to medical emergencies and critical safety incidents, ensuring the well-being and peace of mind of everyone on board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers and cabin at all times, adhering strictly to aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Perform thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties as per operational manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including serving meals, beverages, and attending proactively to passenger needs and requests.
  • Handle passenger inquiries, provide clear information, resolve complaints, and manage special requests with professionalism and empathy.
  • Administer first aid and respond effectively to medical emergencies or other critical situations in the cabin.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness, orderliness, and ensure all amenities are well-stocked throughout the flight.
  • Conduct clear and concise safety briefings for passengers, demonstrating the proper use of oxygen masks, life jackets, and emergency exits.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate seamlessly with flight deck crew and ground staff to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.
  • Complete all necessary flight reports, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or aviation sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in additional Nigerian languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a natural ability to interact positively and effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and highly effective under pressure and during emergency situations.
  • High level of physical fitness, stamina, and ability to meet the demanding physical requirements of the role.
  • Valid Nigerian passport with a minimum of 1-year validity.
  • Minimum height requirement: 5'2" (157cm) for females, 5'6" (168cm) for males.
  • Must be able to swim confidently.
  • No visible tattoos or piercings when in uniform; clear complexion and well-groomed appearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a similar aviation role.
  • Proficiency in additional Nigerian or international languages.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Aviation, or a related service-oriented field.
  • Current certification in basic first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
