As a Hotel Laundry Attendant, you will be a crucial part of our hotel’s operational success, directly impacting the guest experience. You will manage the entire laundry cycle, from sorting soiled items to operating state-of-the-art washing and drying machines, and meticulously folding, pressing, and stocking clean items. Key Responsibilities
- Sort all soiled linen by type and degree of soilage according to established hotel procedures and hygiene standards.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing machines efficiently and safely, adjusting settings as needed for various fabric types.
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper chemical dosage and water temperature settings for optimal cleaning.
- Inspect all linens meticulously for damage, stains, or wear, treating or reporting as necessary to maintain quality.
- Fold, iron, and stack clean linens (sheets, towels, tablecloths, napkins, uniforms) neatly and consistently.
- Maintain accurate inventory of clean and soiled linen, reporting any shortages, surpluses, or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Transport clean linens to designated storage areas and distribute as needed to various hotel departments, including guest rooms and food & beverage outlets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical handling protocols.
- Clean and maintain the laundry area and all equipment, ensuring a hygienic, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards promptly to management to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with other housekeeping duties or special projects as required to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar role, preferably within a hotel or high-volume commercial setting.
- Knowledge of various fabric types, their care requirements, and appropriate washing techniques.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and presses, and cleaning agents.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as hotel operations demand.
