Job Description
Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive administrative professional looking for a dynamic remote opportunity? Financial Center First Credit Union is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This vital remote role will provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows across our organization. You will be instrumental in managing schedules, preparing professional documents, organizing virtual meetings, and facilitating seamless communication among team members and external contacts. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain executive calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate virtual meetings, including setting up technology and preparing agendas.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with meticulous accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organize and maintain digital filing systems, ensuring information is easily accessible, secure, and compliant with data protection policies.
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications, screening and directing inquiries appropriately and professionally.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of virtual events, webinars, and team-building activities to foster a connected remote workforce.
- Process and track expenses, invoices, and other financial documentation in compliance with company policies and budget guidelines.
- Conduct research and compile data to support various projects and initiatives, presenting findings clearly and concisely.
- Order and manage office supplies for remote teams as needed, ensuring efficient distribution and inventory control.
- Support onboarding processes for new remote employees by coordinating necessary administrative steps and providing initial resource guidance.
- Undertake special projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar comprehensive administrative role (minimum 3 years).
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, articulate demeanor and a strong command of grammar and spelling.
- High level of accuracy and acute attention to detail in all work performed, including data entry and document creation.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively in a fully remote work environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and integrity.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a resourceful approach to challenges, with a knack for finding efficient solutions.

- Experience supporting multiple managers or departments simultaneously, demonstrating strong cross-functional coordination.
- Certification in administrative professional programs (e.g., Certified Administrative Professional – CAP, Professional Administrative Certificate of Excellence – PACE).
