Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute compelling, clear, and concise copy for a wide range of marketing and advertising materials, including print ads, digital banners, social media posts, email campaigns, website content, brochures, and video scripts.
  • Collaborate with creative teams (art directors, designers), account managers, and strategists to understand project requirements, client briefs, and brand guidelines.
  • Translate complex ideas and marketing objectives into user-friendly, engaging, and persuasive language.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
  • Ensure all copy aligns with brand voice, tone, and style, while maintaining grammatical accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Present copy concepts and rationale to internal teams and clients, articulating the strategic thinking behind creative choices.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread copy based on feedback, ensuring final deliverables are flawless and meet client expectations.
  • Stay updated with the latest copywriting best practices, advertising trends, and digital marketing techniques to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Copywriter in an advertising agency or similar creative environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling, and concise copy for various platforms and target audiences.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to develop creative ideas from scratch that align with strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in adapting writing style and tone to suit different brand voices and marketing objectives.
