Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular, systematic patrols of assigned parking lots and adjacent areas to ensure compliance with parking regulations and property policies.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, unauthorized vehicles, or potential security concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Issue warnings or parking violation notices as per company policy, ensuring fair and consistent application of rules.
  • Monitor for and report any maintenance issues, such as lighting outages, potholes, or obstructions that could affect safety or accessibility.
  • Provide basic assistance and directions to tenants, visitors, and customers when approached, maintaining a polite and helpful demeanor.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and unauthorized use of parking facilities.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and thoroughly in daily logs or incident reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions as required.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for self and others.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Basic computer literacy for report writing and communication.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or public-facing role.
  • A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License and a clean driving record (for potential vehicle patrol duties).
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
