Job Description
Arik Air is seeking a highly motivated, empathetic, and results-oriented Customer Service Agent to join our Uyo City Mall team for immediate hiring. This pivotal role involves being the first point of contact for our valued passengers, providing exceptional service that embodies the Arik Air standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Greet passengers warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, including verifying tickets, boarding passes, and travel documents.
- Handle passenger inquiries regarding flight schedules, bookings, cancellations, and general airline information efficiently and accurately.
- Assist passengers with baggage handling procedures, including weight limits, lost and found inquiries, and special baggage requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints and difficult situations with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to company policies.
- Provide clear and concise announcements regarding flight statuses, boarding times, and gate changes.
- Operate reservation and ticketing systems to process bookings, changes, and refunds.
- Ensure compliance with all aviation security regulations and safety procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with ground staff, flight crew, and other airport personnel to ensure smooth passenger flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the check-in counter and boarding gate.
- Upsell ancillary services and provide information about Arik Air loyalty programs.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment (minimum 1 year).
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, email, internet).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
