Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Graphics Designer with a strong focus on brand and visual identity to join our dynamic marketing and communications team. Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of visually stunning assets for integrated marketing campaigns, digital platforms, various print materials, product packaging, and corporate communications.
  • Ensure all visual designs adhere strictly to established brand guidelines and maintain impeccable consistency across all brand touchpoints and channels.
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with marketing managers, product development teams, and other internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand project requirements, strategic objectives, and target audience insights.
  • Develop engaging infographics, dynamic presentations, interactive web graphics, and other impactful visual aids for both internal and external communications.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from the initial conceptualization phase through to final execution, consistently ensuring all deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, cutting-edge design software, and best practices to continually enhance the quality, innovation, and effectiveness of our visual output.
  • Provide constructive creative direction and insightful feedback to external agencies or junior designers when necessary to maintain brand consistency and quality.
  • Prepare design files meticulously for print production, ensuring accuracy, optimal resolution, and strict adherence to printer specifications.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing evolution and refinement of our brand identity, visual standards, and design system.
  • Provide creative input and art direction support for photography and videography shoots as required, ensuring visual alignment with brand objectives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is absolutely essential.
  • A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in brand identity development, graphic design, and visual communication.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and visual hierarchy.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex marketing objectives into creative, effective, and visually appealing design solutions.
  • Experience with responsive design principles specifically for digital platforms and mobile-first experiences.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to producing high-quality, pixel-perfect work.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to receive and effectively incorporate constructive feedback into design iterations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a closely related creative field.
  • Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects) or video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Previous experience working within a large corporate environment or a fast-paced advertising agency.
  • Understanding of the consumer goods industry and retail landscape in the Caribbean.
  • Knowledge and experience with digital asset management systems (DAM).
