Job Description

Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about fostering positive employee relations and ensuring seamless HR administration? Wisynco Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Manager to join our vibrant team in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment by managing all aspects of employee relations, from conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures to grievance handling and performance management. You will also oversee core HR administrative functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining accurate HR records, and streamlining HR processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all employee relations activities, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict mediation, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policy and labor laws.
  • Develop, implement, and interpret HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Oversee the administration of HR programs, including benefits, compensation, and leave management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage HR record-keeping systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Facilitate and support employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive work culture and strong communication channels.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace issues, harassment claims, and other employee-related concerns, recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Stay abreast of changes in labor legislation and best practices, proactively implementing necessary adjustments to HR policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on talent acquisition, training and development, and other strategic HR projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Jamaican labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field.
