Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team within the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including drafting, editing, and formatting official documents, letters, and reports.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring quick retrieval of information and adherence to data protection policies.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for departmental staff and senior officials, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Process requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices in compliance with established government procurement policies and financial regulations.
- Provide administrative support for special projects, research initiatives, and departmental events as required.
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.
- Handle telephone calls and visitor inquiries, directing them appropriately and providing courteous and accurate information.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and functionality.
- Facilitate internal communication flow, ensuring timely dissemination of information to relevant personnel.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and adhere to all public service ethics and standards.
