Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload parcels, packages, and freight from vehicles and conveyor belts.
- Sort parcels accurately by destination, utilizing scanning equipment and following established procedures.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any irregularities to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as required (training provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily operational targets.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and follow instructions.
