Over the course of the program, you will rotate through different departments, including but not limited to Operations, Commercial, Finance, Human Resources, and Engineering, depending on your academic background and the Authority’s needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all assigned training modules and workshops.
  • Rotate through various departments to gain comprehensive understanding of NPA's operations.
  • Assist senior staff in daily operational tasks, project execution, and administrative duties.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports on assigned projects and initiatives.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Learn and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Seek feedback, demonstrate initiative, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Present findings and progress updates to mentors and management as required.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum Second Class Upper or HND Upper Credit) in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of integrity, dedication, and professionalism.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Maximum age of 27 years at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications or additional professional qualifications.
  • Experience in leadership roles during university or national service.
  • Basic knowledge of maritime industry operations or logistics.
  • Demonstrable experience with data analysis tools.
  • Ability to speak multiple Nigerian languages.
