Key Responsibilities

  • Operate fuel pumps to dispense petrol and diesel accurately and safely into customer vehicles.
  • Process cash, card, and mobile payments efficiently and accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, assisting with inquiries and promoting station services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pump area, forecourt, and surrounding station facilities.
  • Monitor fuel levels and report discrepancies or low stock to supervisors promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of fuel and emergency procedures.
  • Assist with basic checks on customer vehicles (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels) if trained and required.
  • Handle minor maintenance tasks for pumps and equipment, reporting major issues to management.
  • Keep accurate records of daily sales and transactions.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculating fuel costs and change.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.

  • Residency within Uyo, particularly close to Abak Road Estate.
