Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and internal business requirements to inform policy development.
- Draft, review, and update corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to gather input, facilitate consensus, and ensure successful policy implementation.
- Assess the impact of new or revised policies on business operations, technology systems, and employee training requirements.
- Monitor policy effectiveness and adherence, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on policy matters for senior management and relevant committees.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs related to new or updated policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on corporate policy interpretation and application for internal queries.
- Maintain organized documentation of policies, approvals, and related communications.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in policy analysis, compliance, risk management, or a similar corporate governance role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
