Job Description
The Customer Insight Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence that drives strategic business decisions and enhances the customer experience at Staples Canada. In this exciting and dynamic position, you will be instrumental in unearthing key trends, patterns, and insights from various customer datasets, helping us to understand our customers better than ever before. Your work will directly inform our strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement, ensuring that Staples remains at the forefront of meeting evolving customer needs.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of data analysis, from data extraction and cleaning to the creation of compelling reports and dashboards, and ultimately, presenting your findings to stakeholders across different departments. This includes leveraging SQL for data retrieval, utilizing advanced Excel functions for manipulation, and employing business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau for visualization. Your insights will not just describe what happened, but also shed light on *why* it happened, providing a strong foundation for future initiatives.
Working collaboratively with marketing, sales, product development, and operations teams, you will provide critical analytical support to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identify opportunities for product and service enhancements, optimize customer journeys, and measure the impact of strategic initiatives. Your analytical prowess will directly contribute to improving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall business growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in data manipulation and visualization tools, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and business-relevant narratives. If you are passionate about data, have a knack for uncovering hidden truths, and thrive in an environment where your insights directly influence business strategy, we encourage you to apply. Join Staples Canada and help us shape the future of office solutions and customer engagement in a data-driven world.
