Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead makeup artists with client consultations and preparations, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
- Prepare and sanitize makeup stations, brushes, and tools before and after each client, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, including product displays, changing rooms, and common areas, to uphold our professional image.
- Manage and monitor makeup and supply inventory, reporting needs for replenishment to ensure products are always available.
- Provide basic makeup applications under supervision, such as foundation matching, brow filling, and simple eye looks, as skill level permits and under guidance.
- Help clients feel comfortable and welcome in the studio environment, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as booking appointments, managing client records, and answering calls professionally.
- Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning and training provided by the studio.
- Assist with content creation for social media, including taking high-quality before-and-after photos (with client consent) to showcase our work.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth and efficient operation of the studio, contributing to overall team success.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of makeup application techniques and principles.
- Excellent understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices in a beauty setting.
