Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic devices.
- Carefully inspect products for damage or discrepancies before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate containers, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information, barcodes, and other necessary documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required, following safety protocols.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the packing station and surrounding warehouse area.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock counts and identifying product locations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely, after appropriate training.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and numbers.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift, and carry items up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and verification.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar physical role is an advantage but not required.
- Familiarity with basic scanning devices or warehouse management systems.
