Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track shipments in real-time across various transportation modes using advanced logistics software and GPS systems.
- Analyze tracking data to identify trends, potential delays, and performance issues, providing proactive solutions.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on shipment status, carrier performance, on-time delivery rates, and cost efficiencies.
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for service failures, propose corrective actions, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of tracking data, service level agreements, and carrier contracts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new logistics tracking technologies and systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on shipment progress and potential disruptions.
- Identify opportunities for freight cost reduction and service level enhancement through data-driven insights.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation analysis.
- Proficiency in logistics tracking software and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
