Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and categorize various laundry items, identifying fabric types and special care instructions.
- Operate industrial washing and drying machines, adhering to correct temperature, cycle, and detergent specifications.
- Apply appropriate pre-treatment and stain removal techniques for different types of fabrics and stains.
- Carefully fold, press (where required), package, and prepare finished items for timely delivery or customer pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including regular cleaning of machines and the laundry facility.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and fabric care guidelines to prevent damage and ensure employee well-being.
- Assist senior laundry staff with specialized tasks and contribute to overall team efficiency.
- Ensure timely completion of all tasks assigned during the morning shift, prioritizing urgent items as needed.
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
