Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, thoroughly research, and develop original script ideas for a diverse range of media formats, including television, radio, and emerging digital platforms.
- Craft compelling, well-structured, and highly engaging scripts for documentaries, dramatic series, news features, public service announcements, jingles, and promotional content.
- Collaborate closely and proactively with producers, directors, and other production team members to refine concepts, incorporate feedback effectively, and ensure scripts align perfectly with production goals and technical requirements.
- Conduct thorough and meticulous research to ensure the utmost accuracy, authenticity, and relevance of all script content, particularly crucial for factual programs and educational broadcasts.
- Adapt writing style, tone, and narrative approach to suit different genres, target audiences, and specific cultural contexts within Akwa Ibom State and beyond.
- Edit and meticulously revise scripts based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and strict adherence to AKBC's brand and editorial guidelines.
- Efficiently manage multiple writing projects concurrently, consistently meeting strict deadlines in a demanding and fast-paced production environment.
