Key Responsibilities
- Host engaging and dynamic on-air radio programs, delivering content that resonates with the U105 target audience.
- Curate and manage music playlists, ensuring a fresh and appealing selection that aligns with station format and listener preferences.
- Develop, script, and produce compelling show content, including interviews, listener interaction segments, and promotional material.
- Operate broadcast equipment and software proficiently during live and pre-recorded shows.
- Interact with listeners through phone calls, social media, and other digital platforms, fostering a strong community connection.
- Stay informed on current events, local news, and music trends to incorporate relevant topics into broadcasts.
- Collaborate with the production and programming teams to develop innovative show ideas and station initiatives.
- Maintain a strong online presence for U105 through social media engagement and content creation.
- Adhere to broadcasting standards, legal requirements, and station guidelines at all times.
Required Skills
- Exceptional on-air presence and clear, articulate voice.
