Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and other physical challenges.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, self-management techniques, and preventative measures to promote long-term well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy practices, clinical guidelines, and professional standards through continuous professional development.
- Participate in clinical audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines set by regulatory bodies in the UK (e.g., Health and Care Professions Council – HCPC).
Required Skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Current and valid professional registration (or eligibility for registration) with a relevant regulatory body in your home country.
- Demonstrable clinical experience of at least 2 years post-qualification in a variety of physiotherapy settings (e.g., acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient clinics).
