Graceful Hands Home Care Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our growing team in Rumuokwurusi Market, Port Harcourt. This vital role involves providing essential personal care, companionship, and support to elderly individuals and those with health needs within their private residences. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as reading, games, conversations, and outings.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are observed.
- Administer medication reminders and assist clients in managing their medication schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying living areas, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the care coordinator or family.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client observations.
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
Required Skills

- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in local languages such as Igbo or Ikwerre in addition to English.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
