Quiet Arch Records is seeking an energetic and visionary Music Promoter to join our passionate team in the heart of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive promotional campaigns for new releases and artist projects, ensuring alignment with overall label strategy and artist vision.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, including music journalists, radio programmers, TV producers, online publications, and podcast hosts.
  • Secure media coverage, airplay, interviews, and features for artists across local, national, and international platforms.
  • Strategise and execute digital promotion initiatives, including social media campaigns, influencer outreach, playlist pitching, and engagement with online music communities.
  • Coordinate promotional activities around live performances, tours, and festival appearances, working closely with booking agents and artist management.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports on media coverage, audience engagement, and overall impact.
  • Identify new and emerging promotional channels and opportunities, staying ahead of industry trends and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Manage promotional budgets effectively and ensure all activities are delivered on time and within scope.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in music promotion, PR, or marketing within the music industry.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the current media landscape, including traditional and digital platforms.
  • Strong network of media contacts within the music industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases and pitches.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Highly organised with exceptional project management and time-management skills.
  • A genuine passion for music and a deep appreciation for independent artistry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working specifically with independent artists or record labels.
