Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to Union Bank staff, addressing IT-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and software (operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite) problems.
- Assist with network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting and basic LAN support.
- Install, configure, and maintain new IT equipment and peripherals.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage user accounts, including password resets, account creation, and modification.
- Document all support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex IT issues to senior IT personnel or specialized teams when necessary.
- Educate users on basic IT best practices and security awareness.
- Support and troubleshoot banking-specific applications and platforms.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and conduct regular audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support department.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and software applications.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
