Job Description
We are actively seeking a diligent and meticulous Cleaner to join our vibrant team, contributing to the upkeep and pristine condition of both our hotel premises and administrative offices in Mbandaka. This dual-role position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our guests expect and our staff deserve. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas, from guest rooms and public spaces to meeting rooms and staff offices, are impeccably clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including guest rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, common areas, offices, and hallways, following established procedures and schedules.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, towels, and other amenities in guest rooms and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning tasks as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when supplies are low.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably within a hotel or office environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to operate cleaning tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform duties such as bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry in the DR Congo.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in basic French or Lingala.
