Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of credit applications, including reviewing financial statements, cash flow projections, and collateral valuation for corporate and retail clients.
- Assess credit risk by analyzing industry trends, market conditions, and economic indicators to provide comprehensive credit recommendations.
- Prepare detailed credit proposals and reports, presenting findings and recommendations to credit committees and senior management.
- Ensure all credit decisions and recommendations comply with the bank's credit policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate non-performing loans.
- Collaborate effectively with relationship managers, legal teams, and other departments to facilitate efficient loan processing and customer service.
- Perform periodic reviews of client accounts and financial performance to re-assess creditworthiness and adjust credit facilities as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in credit risk management, financial regulations, and industry developments to enhance departmental capabilities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new credit products and risk assessment tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in credit analysis or a similar role within a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and credit risk assessment methodologies.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and meticulous attention to detail.
