Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support patients with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to qualified nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their comfort and well-being.
- Assist qualified nurses and healthcare professionals with clinical tasks as delegated and trained.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Adhere to all health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Participate in handover meetings and team discussions to ensure continuity of care.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a care setting (e.g., hospital, care home, community care).

- First Aid qualification.
