Job Description

Are you an innovative and passionate educator with a flair for curriculum design and development? Whitchurch High School is seeking a dedicated Education Coordinator – Curriculum Development to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is central to our continuous commitment to enhancing the learning experience for all students across our broad and balanced curriculum. As the Education Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of education within our school, working collaboratively with departmental leads, teaching staff, and senior leadership to review, refine, and implement progressive curriculum frameworks. You will be responsible for ensuring our curriculum remains relevant, engaging, inclusive, and aligned with national educational standards and best practices. This includes identifying opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, integrating new pedagogical approaches, and developing resources that support effective teaching and learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, design, and development of curriculum frameworks and learning pathways across key stages.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads and teaching staff to integrate new pedagogies and interdisciplinary approaches.
