Key Responsibilities
- Serve food items to students and staff in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all cafeteria areas, including dining spaces, serving stations, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for cash handling and transaction processing accurately.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper storage to comply with food safety guidelines.
- Restock serving stations, condiments, and beverage areas as needed throughout service periods.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with other cafeteria staff members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all school district policies and procedures, especially concerning health and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns courteously.
Required Skills
