Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers, handling all inquiries and transactions.
- Assist customers with account openings, loan applications, and other banking services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and professionally, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Educate customers on Union Bank's products and services, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Process cash and cheque transactions, transfers, and other banking operations with precision and adherence to bank policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all bank products, services, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, security procedures, and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust in Union Bank.
Required Skills
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- A strong customer-centric approach and commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
